Mandela Day 2019
As part of their contribution towards their 67 minutes for Mandela Day; members and volunteers of the SBF created shoe box hampers to be distributed to welfare children in schools around the Lotus Park/Isipingo area.
130 hampers were created; which consisted of stationery, healthy treats, snacks, chips and juice. Members and volunteers, along with their children spent time painting, decorating and wrapping the boxes; to make it more festive for the children. Stationery was so kindly donated by Baxil Distributions. #BaxilDistributions.
The hampers were handed to the children on the 17th and 18th July. Uniforms were also distributed, along with the hampers, to a secondary school on 18th July. The children were extremely appreciative, upon receiving the hampers.
Seva Bhakti Foundation would like to thank each and every person who contributed towards creating, packing and/or distributing the hampers. Without your generous contribution and time, this shoe box drive would not have been possible.
